Kate’s yoga teacher training course is Yoga Australia recognised. There are 9 weekends, each weekend consists of 18 hours of direct teaching hours, including an Ayurveda knowledge and cooking weekend. Plus a 5 day retreat and 1 free class per week with the hosting teacher or with a Kate in Bowral.

The course is 350 hours of direct contact with Kate and support teachers, such as Tamara Ditrich, Falu & Michael Eyre, Dan Alder and others. Upon completion of the course students will qualify as a Level I Yoga Instructor.

Kate has been offering Yoga Teacher Training course since 2005 and her course is very highly regarded in the Yoga world. This course comprises of an integration of Ancient Eastern and more modern contemporary philosophies of “being human” and how to feel rather than force oneself into postures.

Topics include: Philosophy of Patanjalis eight fold path, Pranayama – slow and fast rhythms, Developmental movement patterns, Yoga Asanas – alignment, adjustment and sequencing, Vipassana meditation – being present to each moment, Yogic physiology of the Chakras, Koshas and Pranavayus, Yoga Teaching skills – observation, adjustment and sequencing, Functional Anatomy, Home practices, Meridians and body work, Ayurvedic medicine and cooking.

The support teachers will include Tamara Ditrich, Falu Eyre, Dan Alder and Wendy Reid. The hosting teachers will be assisting Kate during the weekend workshops and on retreat, so you’ll always have two or more teachers available as you journey through the year.
